Phantom DE Digital Ballast 1000W

Phantom’s double-ended technology maximizes PAR output! The engineering excellence behind Phantom ballasts is now part of the new Phantom Commercial DE ballasts. These high-frequency ballasts are optimized for 1000W double-ended HPS lamps and feature an advanced microprocessor and four output control settings. They are silent, efficient, lightweight, and compatible with all double-ended reflectors available on the market.

All 40 Series DE ballasts work seamlessly with the Autopilot PX1 Digital Lighting Controller (APDPX1), which provides centralized, dual-zone control over DE lighting. You can switch, dim, and boost multiple USB-compatible Hydrofarm ballasts, managing up to 256 ballasts in each of the two zones for a total of 512 ballasts.

This specific model (PHB4020) operates at 277V, is generator-ready, and meets FCC standards. It comes with a complete setup, including instructions, cables, a splitter, and an 8-foot power cord.

For remote use of reflectors with Phantom ballasts from the PHB4020 series, only Hydrofarm reflectors with a built-in 15′ cord should be used.

Additional lamp extension cords, plug adapters, or non-Hydrofarm reflectors may not function properly with Phantom ballasts in remote setups.
